More Than 30 Years Experience
Professional Pet Grooming Services in Genesee County, MI
Every pet has different grooming needs, and every owner has different expectations for how their pet should look. At K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon, I provide Professional Pet Grooming Services in Genesee County, MI with an emphasis on experience, communication, and personal attention.
I have more than 30 years of professional grooming experience and work with dogs of all breeds, including purebred dogs. I also provide indoor cat grooming on Saturdays only, along with pet nail trimming, teeth scaling, and gland expression.
Professional Philosophy
Pet Grooming With More Than 30 Years of Experience
Experience can make an important difference when you are choosing someone to groom your pet.
Dogs come in many breeds, sizes, coat types, and personalities. Cats have their own individual grooming needs as well. After more than three decades in pet grooming, I understand how important it is to consider the individual animal rather than assume that every pet should receive exactly the same approach.
I also understand that owners know their pets and often have clear preferences about grooming.
That is why communication is an important part of the service I provide. A short consultation gives you an opportunity to tell me what you would like before I begin working with your pet.
Whether you need full professional grooming or an additional grooming service, I encourage you to contact me to discuss your pet and what you are looking for.
Independently Owned & Operated
Our Services
Professional All-Breed Dog Grooming
Professional dog grooming is one of my primary services at K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon.
I groom dogs of all breeds, including purebred dogs, and bring more than 30 years of professional experience to my work. Different breeds and individual dogs can have very different coats and grooming requirements, making an experienced approach especially valuable.
Your preferences matter, too.
Before I begin grooming, I offer a short in-person consultation so we can discuss your desired look. This gives you the opportunity to communicate how you prefer your dog to be groomed rather than leaving those details to guesswork.
My goal is to combine professional grooming with the personal attention you would expect from an independently owned pet salon.
If you are looking for dog grooming in Genesee County, MI, contact me to discuss your dog's grooming needs and appointment availability.
In-Person Consultation Included
Discuss coat preferences, maintenance, and breed styling directly with me before grooming starts.
Indoor Only • Saturdays Only
Please contact me in advance to reserve Saturday appointment times for your feline family members.
Saturday-Only Indoor Cat Grooming
I also provide professional grooming services for cats, but this service has specific scheduling and location requirements that I want every customer to understand.
Cat grooming at K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon is indoor-only and available on Saturdays only.
Cat grooming is not offered throughout the rest of the week.
If your cat needs professional grooming, please contact me in advance to discuss the service and Saturday appointment availability. Making these details clear from the beginning helps prevent confusion and allows you to plan your cat's grooming visit accordingly.
I bring the same caring philosophy to feline clients that I bring to the dogs entrusted to me. I know pets are important members of their families, and I strive to treat the cats I work with as if they were my own.
Complete Salon Services
Pet Grooming Services in Genesee County, MI
K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon offers professional grooming and additional pet care services throughout Genesee County from our salon at 3106 N Center Rd in Flint, Michigan.
Pet Nail Trimming
Nail maintenance is a common part of routine grooming, but not every pet owner is comfortable trimming nails at home.
I provide pet nail trimming throughout Genesee County, MI for clients who want professional help maintaining their pet's nails. Nail trimming may be requested in connection with your pet's grooming needs or discussed as an individual service.
Regular attention to nail length can be an important part of routine pet care. How frequently a pet needs nail trimming can vary based on the individual animal, activity level, and natural nail wear.
If you are unsure whether your pet is due for a trim, contact me to discuss the service.
Teeth Scaling
Teeth scaling is another service I offer at K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon.
If you are interested in teeth scaling for your pet, I encourage you to contact me directly so I can explain the salon service and answer questions about what I provide.
Important Veterinary Notice:
It is also important to distinguish a grooming salon service from veterinary dental care. Teeth scaling at a grooming salon should not be presented as a diagnosis, treatment for dental disease, or replacement for professional veterinary dentistry.
If your dog or cat has bad breath accompanied by pain, bleeding, swelling, difficulty eating, loose teeth, or another dental health concern, contacting a veterinarian is the appropriate next step.
Gland Expression
K-9 Fine Design Pet Salon also offers gland expression as an additional pet care service.
Some pet owners are already familiar with this service and may request it as part of their pet's regular grooming routine. If gland expression is something you would like addressed, let me know when discussing your pet's appointment.
Health & Wellness Consideration:
As with other grooming-related services, there are situations where veterinary attention may be needed. Persistent discomfort, swelling, bleeding, signs of infection, or significant pain should not simply be treated as a routine grooming issue.
If you have questions about the gland expression service I provide, contact me before your appointment.
